Initiatives
The Roberta Bondar Foundation’s initiatives support our mission to connect people to the natural world, inspiring curiosity, respect for and conservation of the environment while building healthier lives.
The Foundation began with a donation of fine art photography by Dr. Bondar, which gets exhibited in museums and galleries internationally as part of our Travelling Exhibitions and Learning Experiences. In 2021 we launched the Sharing Space Podcast with Dr. Roberta Bondar featuring interviews with prominent Canadians. Our photography competition, the Bondar Challenge, reaches youth across Canada. Our research interests are currently focused on the AMASS/Space for Birds migration project. We also provide other lectures, seminars, and collaborations through our artistic collaborations.
