From her view of Bell’s Silver Dart replica hanging above the ceremonies representing Canada’s first powered flight to her own memory of orbiting the Earth in STS Discovery — and all within 80 years of each other — the vision of Cape Breton University‘s special convocation in this most appropriate of Canadian aviation sites was never lost on Dr Bondar.
